Elborough Street

Tucked away in south west London lies Elborough Street, the site is a terraced Edwardian property. The extension combines heavy elements in brick on the ground floor to open up the property, giving more light through roof lights, and creating a open living, kitchen and dining space, while the loft sees a lightweight zinc box stitched into the existing roof of the property. The extension uses the vernacular of materiality, London stock brick, but an accentuated and prominent soldier course highlights the intricate design, differentiating the addition from the existing property. The proposed development will create generous living space on the ground floor, while adding an additional bathroom and bedroom on the second floor. The project is currently in planning, with a decision aimed for in October 2025.
